class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>La funzione di Patient education and empowerment (PEE) \u00e8 un&#8217;articolazione del Servizio rapporti con il paziente e con gli stakeholders, il quale opera in staff alla Direzione Generale ed \u00e8 finalizzato alla pianificazione e alla gestione delle diverse forme di comunicazione con pazienti, caregiver, associazioni e altri stakeholders, assicurando supporto anche allo sviluppo delle progettualit\u00e0 della Direzione Scientifica per gli aspetti che rientrano nell\u2019ambito di competenza.<\/p>\n<p>La Patient education and empowerment in particolare:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>coordina il Gruppo di Lavoro della PEE composto da professionisti, malati, caregiver e volontari di associazioni di malati e di volontariato che promuove azioni di ricerca e di intervento nell\u2019ambito della programmazione della PEE;<\/li>\n<li>contribuisce alla ricerca scientifica su \u201cHealth Literacy\u201d riguardo prevenzione, ricerca e assistenza oncologica e modelli di erogazione delle informazioni al paziente in un\u2019ottica di \u201cchange promoting\u201d organizzativo;<\/li>\n<li>promuove interventi di comunicazione al malato anche attraverso la predisposizione e la distribuzione di materiale informativo omogeneo per i malati e i caregiver secondo criteri e strumenti di valutazione standardizzati;<\/li>\n<li>promuove e\/o organizza incontri divulgativi-scientifici a tema per, anche in collaborazione con le associazioni dei malati per i pazienti per conoscere i principali temi della cura e della ricerca in oncologia e per avere l\u2019opportunit\u00e0 di ascoltare e dialogare con medici e ricercatori;<\/li>\n<li>promuove\/organizza convegni e corsi di formazione sulla comunicazione e la formazione per gli operatori sanitari su argomenti scelti in base alle priorit\u00e0\/interessi dei pazienti e cittadini, con particolare attenzione al coinvolgimento degli stessi anche in relazione alle diversit\u00e0 etniche e culturali;<\/li>\n<li>attiva e sperimentare buone pratiche e loro misurazione di efficacia che possano contribuire ad aumentare l\u2019empowerment e la comunicazione con il cittadino ed i pazienti attraverso una serie di incontri sui principali temi che riguardano la malattia e le sue cure;<\/li>\n<li>produce comunicazioni e pubblicazioni sugli argomenti della PEE anche in collaborazione con altre realt\u00e0 affini alla PEE italiane ed internazionali;<\/li>\n<li>promuove campagne di comunicazione scientifica quale strumento a supporto del processo di integrazione tra la sempre maggiore disponibilit\u00e0 di strumenti sofisticati nel settore dell\u2019oncogenomica e le pratiche correnti di sanit\u00e0 pubblica;<\/li>\n<li>sviluppa un processo di \u201ccapacity building\u201d finalizzato a migliorare conoscenza, cultura, coscienza collettiva, condivisione di intenti e collaborazione;<\/li>\n<li>realizza programmi\/campagne di educazione per sensibilizzare la popolazione in generale sui tumori, i loro sintomi, i fattori di rischio, la prevenzione, le opzioni di trattamento e l&#8217;impatto su pazienti, lungoviventi, loro famiglie e assistenti e i cittadini con un aumentato rischio di cancro.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section
